Vintage Tonka No. 2465 Gas Turbine Dump Truck dating from the late 1960s / early 1970s.
The No. 2465 Gas Turbine Dump Truck was introduced by Tonka for the 1969 model year and remained in production into the early 1970s.
Pressed-steel construction with red cab/chassis, yellow tipping body, clear wraparound windscreen and white interior/dashboard.
This example appears consistent with the Toronto Canadian-produced version of the Gas Turbine truck.
Original play-worn condition with paint loss, surface corrosion, scratches, dirt and age-related wear throughout. Windscreen is present but cloudy/scratched from age.
Tipping body and mechanism present.
