Original period Freeman’s Dust Absorber metal tin and contents, dating approximately from the 1940s–1950s.
This is an original vintage cleaning/polishing product tin and not a modern reproduction decorative tin.
Freeman’s Dust Absorber was marketed as a treated polishing/dusting cloth for automobile bodies, furniture and other polished surfaces. This style of tin carries an earlier 1923 copyright, although surviving examples of this packaging date from the mid-20th century.
Green, cream and red printed steel construction.
Original aged condition with surface rust, scratches, staining, paint loss and wear consistent with its age.
