Amstrad PCW8512 Vintage Computer 512K PC Boxed + Printer & Keyboard
Vintage Amstrad PCW8512 Personal Computer / Word Processor, dating from the mid-1980s.
An increasingly collectible early Amstrad computer, featuring a built-in green monochrome CRT monitor, twin 3-inch floppy disk drives and 512KB RAM.
Condition and Testing
The computer is in good overall cosmetic condition for its age, with some general signs of use and storage. Comes with original box and packaging.
The machine has been connected to mains power and switched on successfully. The green CRT screen illuminates and displays horizontal lines, as photographed.
No operating system/startup disk is available, so the computer cannot be booted into LocoScript or CP/M for further testing.
I believe that the computer simply requires a suitable startup disk, although full functionality has not been verified.
The printer and drives have not been fully tested.
